Greek Chicken Souvlaki with Tsatziki


Chicken Souvlaki are a popular street food all around Greece. Loaded with fresh flavours of lemon, garlic and rosemary, these are super easy to make and very versatile - enjoy them as it is with a Tsatziki dip, LEMON TAHINI SAUCE wrap them up in pita or any flatbread or use them for chicken sandwiches.


Try these Mediterranean dishes:

What you need:

500 gms thigh meat or mixed

1 tsp minced garlic

1 sprig fresh rosemary

Plenty of salt and pepper

1 tsp Paprika powder

Juice of 1 lemon (or lime)

Zest of 1 lemon (or lime)

2 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil

Oregano

1 small onion, finely chopped

Putting it all together:

1. Combine the ingredients for the marinade with the chicken and marinate for 2-3 hours or overnight. 2. Skewer the chicken cubes.

3. Heat a hot griddle pan or grill and cook the chicken on both sides till charred. You can cook it half way before and grill further when time to serve.
