Coffee Ice Cream (No Churn)

If you are an ardent coffee lover, this no churn coffee ice cream is a must try for you. Decadent and earthy flavour of coffee, complemented well by hints of chocolate chips and toasted nuts. Because of the versatility of the flavour, you can play around with the mix ins and use crushed Oreo cookies, crumbled brownies or even a swirl of Baileys or Kahlua.

This is a no fuss and quick recipe and does not require any special equipment.


What you need:

1 cup whipping cream (Amul)

200 g condensed milk

2 tbsp coffee powder or 1 espresso shot

Chocolate chips (optional)Toasted nuts (optional)

Putting it together:

1. Whip the whipping cream till soft peaks are formed.

2. Combine coffee powder with 1/4th cup warm water to dissolve the powder.

3. In another bowl, combine the condensed milk and coffee liquor. Save some coffee liquor for décor.

4. Add this coffee condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream and mix with a spoon.

5. In the meantime, chill a cake tin in the freezer.

6. Pour half the mixture in your chilled tin, sprinkle some chocolate chips or toasted nuts and then add the remainder mixture and top with more chocolate chips or nuts.

7. Swirl in the remaining coffee liquor and freeze for 4 - 5 hours.
