Chicken Tikka Wraps

A zesty, protein packed wrap that is great as a snack or dinner. This is a classic Indian chicken tikka recipe with a minted yogurt sauce. For healthier version, you can use homemade chappatis and thin parathas given the time you have in hand else the store bought tortillas work just fine. This chicken filling works great in a simple sandwich or just by itself as a snack to have with a chilled glass of beer!
For a Mexican twist, add in some MEXICAN MANGO SALSA and jalapenos.

What you need:
500g thigh chicken, cut in chunks
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp tandoori masala
Yogurt dressing-
1 cup thick yogurt
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp minced garlic
Fresh mint, chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp minced ginger
2 tbsp yoghurt
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp red chili powder
Juice of 1 lime
Salt as per taste
Tortilla wraps or thin parathas
1 onion, sliced​
Yogurt dressing:
1 cup thick yogurt
Salt and pepper to taste
½ tsp minced garlic
Fresh mint, chopped​
Putting it together:​
1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken with the 1tbsp oil, tandoori masala, minced garlic and ginger, yogurt, salt, red chili powder and lime juice.
2. Set aside for half an hour. Throw in the sliced onions
3. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add the chicken and cook on high heat till the water has evaporated and the chicken is brown and flavourful.
4. Make the yoghurt dressing, by combining all the ingredients.
5. When ready to serve, Warm the tortillas in a pan, fill in some chicken, salad and the yoghurt dressing.
